mijoté is a restaurant in san francisco’s mission district. our menu is grounded in french technique and guided by ingredients from local farmers and producers. we serve natural wines from winemakers near and far who use organic farming methods and forego additives and intervention.
mijoté means “simmered” in french. it was one of the first french words chef kosuke tada learned when studying french cuisine in osaka, japan. it also makes him think of his grandmother, especially her chikuzenni.
we are located at 2400 Harrison St, San Francisco.
